Abstract:
ObjectiveTo analyze the incidence trend of acute viral hepatitis B in Shaoxing city, 2005-2018, providing the basis for the prevention and control of acute viral hepatitis B.
MethodsDescriptive epidemiological method was used to analyze the cases data on acute viral hepatitis B in Shaoxing City, 2005-2018.
ResultsA total of 4 378 cases of acute viral hepatitis B were reported in Shaoxing City, 2005-2018. The annual average incidence rate was 6.47/10.000, indicating that hepatitis B incidence had a declining trend in the past 14 years(χtrend2=795.773, P < 0.001).The male incidence rate were higher than that of the female(χ2=639.603, P < 0.001). Most cases were young and middle-aged people aged 20-59 years, accounting for 84.51%. The top three occupations of them were farmers(59.23%), workers(11.67%)and migrant workers(8.29%).
ConclusionThe incidence rate of acute viral hepatitis B in Shaoxing city shows a downward trend. The male people aged 20-59 has higher incidence rate, whose occupations are mainly farmers, workers and migrant workers. On the basis of hepatitis B vaccination, we should strengthen the health education of high risk population and improve the adult hepatitis B vaccination rate.
