Intervention effect on weight control for overweight and obese groups in Shanghai Daikin Air-Condition Corporation

Health improvement was carried out to control body weight in key groups of overweight employees in Daikin Air Conditioning (Shanghai) Co. Ltd in 2016. Through health guidance, and other forms of health intervention, overweight employees were helped to understand their own health status, acquire health knowledge and skills and foster a healthy lifestyle. Through a year of health promotion activities, the proportion of overweight and obese employees got down from 99.00% to 61.36%. We explored and established a health management model that health professional sector such as CDC and community health center, Daikin Air Conditioning (Shanghai) Co. and health management company cooperated with each other and took responsibilities of their own.
