Empirical study on comprehensive prevention and control model of chronic diseases in workplace of Huangpu District of Shanghai

  • ObjectiveThrough the summary and analysis of the practice of the comprehensive prevention and control mode of chronic diseases in the workplace of Huangpu District of Shanghai, this paper provides empirical evidence for the promotion in this regard.
    MethodsHealth promotion theory was adopted to carry out comprehensive prevention and control of chronic diseases in pilot units relying on enterprises.Through epidemiological methods, the health status of workers were evaluated in the prevention and control of chronic diseases in pilot and District enterprises.
    ResultsThrough the comprehensive prevention and control of chronic diseases in occupational places in pilot enterprises, was established the work mechanism of being led by enterprises, supported by the society and cooperated with multiple departments.And the changes of "environment-consciousness -behavior" in occupational places and people were promoted, thus the health of employees improved.
    ConclusionThe mode in the study proves to be suitable for implementation of comprehensive prevention and control of chronic diseases in enterprises.
