ObjectiveThe article analyzes the cause and feature of the children's accidental injuries occurring in Jingshan from 2011 to 2018, hoping to provide reference for prevention of accidental injuries in kindergartens in the region.

MethodsThe article summarizes accidental injuries reported in Jinshan District in 2011-2018, calculating and analyzing the occurrence rate and structure rate.

ResultsTotally, the occurrence rate of accidental injuries in kindergartens in Jinshan District was lower and mostly happened in the morning. And the injuries mainly occurred outdoors or in activity rooms, more common in tumbling and colliding, resulting mostly in fracture or surgical suture with the number of 4 stitches and over.

ConclusionThe article presents proposals for lowering the accidental injuries in Jinshan District, suggests strengthening the children's safety education, ensuring safety surroundings for the kindergarten. And it holds that it is imperative to enhance the staff's awareness of safety and precaution, and effectively implement safety inspection in advance.
