Investigation and analysis on the hygeian status of ganoderma products on sale

ObjectiveTo understand the hygeian status of ganoderma products on sale in certain district and find out its problems,to explore the hygeian administrative model on ganoderma products and provide some data for policy-making.MethodsThe wording of prepackaged label,microorganism and heavy metal contaminations of 43 ganoderma products were analyzed.ResultsQualified rate of prepackaged label of 43 ganoderma products was 18.60 percent.The chief unqualified reasons were exaggeration of its therapeutic effect and in want of a standard mark.According to General Standard for Healthy Food,79.07 percent of the data of microorganism and heavy metal including lead,arsenic and mercury contaminantions were under the maximum allowance levels.ConclusionProducts standard should be legislated in order to strengthen the administration on ganoderma products and safeguard the health of consumers.
