Preventive medical education for medical students in the new era:Challenges and strategies

Since the beginning of the 21^st century, with the aging population, industrialization, ecological environment, and lifestyle changes, the spectrum of human diseases has changed.Thus, the focus of preventive medicine has changed too.This requires adaptive adjustment of preventive medicine education for students majoring in clinical medicine, which is in line with the present focus of preventive medicine.Herein, we discuss the challenges and stratagems of preventive medicine education in the new era.
