Four Chinese version scales of cognitive function screening instruments:A review

  • Cognition related disorders have been one of the most critical diseases which threaten the health of elderly.How to detect it early is the key clinical issue of these diseases.This review focused on four frequently used cognitive function assessment scales, including the Mini-mental State Examination (MMSE), Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA), Activity of Daily Living Scale (ADL), and 8-item Ascertain Dementia (AD8), and reviewed the relevant application and progress.
