Status analysis on 535 cases of type 2 diabetes in a community in shanghai

  • ObjectiveTo ascertain the compliance status of glycemic and other related indicators in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus in a community in Shanghai.
    MethodsA total of 535 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus were included in this community in Shanghai.Their general condition and data on blood glucose, blood pressure, blood lipids, serum creatinine, urinary albumin excretion were collected for investigation and analysis of the related risk factors of diabetic nephropathy.
    ResultsThe compliance rates of FBG, HbAlc, BMI, TG, LDL were 59.1%, 63.2%, 52.0%, 33.1%, 61.9%.The compliance rates of SBP, DBP were 52.3%, 87.1%.The compliance rates of SBP and DSP were 47.7%.Univariate analysis showed ISH in groups ≥60 years accounted for 74.2%, which was higher than 54.2% in groups < 60 years, the difference was statistical significance(χ2=4.43, P < 0.05).UAER abnormal detection rate was 25.4%.Univariate analysis showed that UAER abnormality was related to FBG, HbAlc, BMI, SBP, DBP, LDL and TG, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05).The eGFR < 90 mL/(min-1·1.73 m-2) rates was estimated to be 43.7%.
    ConclusionThe comprehensive control compliance rate of type 2 diabetes is low and should be improved in the community.Most patients have a decline in GFR, but have not yet entered the clinical proteinuria stage and need to strengthen early prevention and treatment of diabetic nephropathy.
