Exploration on management mode for community diagnosis and treatment for osteoporosis

Osteoporosis and osteoporotic fractures are important public health problems in China, but at the moment, the prevention and treatment for it are not optimistic, and the existing problems are obvious.How to manage osteoporosis and osteoporotic fractures is a problem which scholars all over the world have been exploring. In order to prevent and reduce the occurrence of osteoporosis and secondary fracture after fragility fracture, Shanghai carried out the osteoporosis community standardized diagnosis and treatment pilot work, and achieved remarkable results. This article carries on the discussion on five aspects, including the epidemiology and the situation of osteoporosis, the domestic and international management mode, the establishment of Shanghai city control network, community management mode, and prospects and perplexity for the diagnosis and treatment of osteoporosis management mode.
