Health education and health promotion of past 30 years in Shanghai

This article reviews the 30-year course of health education and health promotion since the establishment of the Shanghai Preventive Medicine Association.It summarizes the corresponding policies, strategies and measures to solve the health problems in different periods, and the benefits brought by the series of comprehensive measures, and objectively evaluates the work and achievements of health education and health promotion in the past 30 years in Shanghai, which is of important and referenced significance for present further promoting improvement of residents′ health level and deepening development of public health in the new period.
