Abstract
Objective To investigate the etiological factors of post-menopausal bleeding and the method to reduce the incidence rate of malignant tumor. Methods The etiology factors in 2448 post-menopausal bleeding patients were analyzed by clinic and pathological methods. Results Of the 2448 cases, there were 2103 cases of benign diseases, accounting for 85.91%, 141 cases of precancerous lesion, accounting for 5.76% and 204 cases of malignant tumor, accounting for 8.33%.It was concluded that incidence rate of malignant tumor was increased with the increase in the age of onset and age of menopause. Conclusion For post-menopausal bleeding patients, it is obvious that comprehensive diagnosis should be made early with a view to ascertaining etiological factors, treating early and preventing malignant degeneration.
