Abstract:
ObjectiveTo provide information for comprehensive interventions of dyslipidemia in communities, blood lipid level, its abnormal status and related factors were analyzed in residents aged 18 years and over in Rugao City.
MethodsA number of families were drawn from 14 towns under the jurisdiction of Rugao City for detection of blood lipid levels, dyslipidemia and related factors in residents aged 18 and above.
ResultsThe total cholesterol (TC) and three acyl glycerol (TG) levels in residents aged 18 years and over in Rugao were (5.02±1.06), (1.57±1.12) mmol / L; The detection rate of dyslipidemia was 49.79%, the rate of TC was 38.56% and the rate of TG was 26.52%; By two levels of logistic regression analysis we found that non-smoking, smoking cessation, heavy physical labor, daily intake of more than 400mL milk were protective factors for elevated dyslipidemia; We also found that longer (> 2.0 h) sitting time, higher soy products intake frequency (>4 times/week) were high risk factors of dyslipidemia.
ConclusionIn Rugao City, residents of 18 years old and above should have their higher blood lipid rate prevented in its early stage through improving lifestyle, taking appropriate exercise, and having rational diet.
