Abstract:
ObjectiveBy analyzing the incidence of malignancy in Jiading District of Shanghai from 2008 to 2012, to provide evidence for malignancy trend analysis and comprehensive tumor prevention and treatment.
MethodsThe incidence of malignancy in Jiading District from 2008 to 2012 was collected from Shanghai Cancer Management System.The incidence of malignancy, distribution of sex and age were analyzed statistically.
ResultsThe incidence of malignancy in Jiading District increased from 2008 to 2012, and the morbidity of males was higher than that of females.In male patients with malignancy, more than 50 years of age accounted for 90.41%;in female patients with cancer, 50 years of age accounted for 81.57%.The first malignancy in males was lung cancer, reaching a peak in the 80-85 age group and in females was breast cancer, reaching a peak in the 50-55 age group.
ConclusionThe incidence of malignancy in Jiading District of Shanghai increased from 2008 to 2012, the incidence rate of males was higher than that of females. The first malignancy of males was lung cancer and female was breast cancer.
