Abstract: Road traffic injury is a major public health problem globally. In China， about 10 thousand children died from road traffic injuries every year. This paper describes the current research status and epidemiological characteristics of road traffic injuries in children and adolescents， and analyzes the influencing factors and the current interventions， in order to reduce the incidence of road traffic injuries in children and to ensure the safety of children̩’s life and health.
