Abstract:
Objective To discuss the application of early endoscopic realignment in treatment of urethral disruption.
Methods Six cases of urethral disruption were reviewed which were managed by early ureteroscopy realignment.
Results Five of 6 cases were done in retrograde approach, and one in retrograde/antegrade approach,all having succeeded, follow-up done at 2 months~4 years post-opeatively, all with e good uroflow, but 4 of 6 cases developing urethral stricture.
Conclusion Early endoscopic realignment is an efficacious and safe option for treatment of urethral disruption.
